[The effect of fertilizers on the yield and quality of potatoes]

The effect of mineral fertilizers on the yield and quality of the "Urgenta" potato variety has been studied by performing experiments in vegetation pots and field experiments, in agro-ecological conditions of the Golija Mountain (Yugoslavia). Vegetational experiments, performed in controlled conditions, were intended for the study of potato growth and yield when fertilized with different types and quantities of mineral fertilizers. The same study was carried out in field conditions. Besides determining the yield, this is a study of the yield structure and quality, and of the changes in the above-ground part (height, thickness and number of stem, leaf number and surface and so on).
