This is a study of the effect of different levels of phosphorus and zinc fertilizers on maize crops. The testing was done on pseudogley soil, poor in humus, with an acidy reaction and a moderate supply of phosphorus. Os SK 247 was the maize grown. On the basis of the results, it has been established that phosphorus fertilization did not have any effect on the maize yield and that there is no antagonism between phosphorus and zinc. Even though maize has relatively high requirements towards zinc, a deficiency of this or other microelements in the soil, is rare. Before fertilizing with microelements, an analysis should be done of the soil and plant material and in this way, justify its use.
