Systemic myopathies and myocardiopathies in horses, foals, calves, lambs and pigs, and dietary hepatosis in pigs are found occasionally or more frequently in individual managements in Middle Posavina (Yugoslavia). Small quantities of selenium in maize and hay may be connected with oligoelement deficiencies in the soil because of which small quantities of these elements are found in feedstuff.
