Some biochemical changes in ginseng root infected by Cylindrocarpon destructans

Roots of Panax ginseng infected by Cylindrocarpon destructans and healthy plants were processed for the analysis of many organic materials. The experiments showed that the content of total saponins, starch, total sugars, 6 amino acids in the diseased roots decreased and the content of fatty acids, lignin, reducing sugar, 10 amino acids were higher than those in healthy ginseng roots
