The effects of pretreatment ways on fatty acid patterns of protoplast and protoplast yield in soybeans

The effects of changing treatment condition on fatty acid patterns of protoplast and protoplast yield were studied. The results showed as follows: It was easy that getting higher protoplast yield from new leaf and developing seed than other organs. In the case of water stress, there was strong transformation from unsaturation to saturated fatty acids in the protoplast of developing seed, the content of saturated fatty acid was increased; but there was no change in protoplast of mesophyll cell
