The treatise deals with mechanical arrangement of straw, what is the main prerequisite of its good utilization. It includes the following: mounted shredders on harvester-threshers (design and verification of the functional model, examination of opeational quality and power demands), mounted shredders on tractors (design and verification of the functional model, examination of operational quality and power demands), state straw chipping machines (design and verification of the functional model, examination of operational quality and power demands). All designed and verified devices are nowadays commercially produced in the CSFR.
