This method facilitates determination of 8 different soil fractions of molybdenum: water-soluble molybdenum (WSMo), molybdenum bound to humin acids on the surface of clay minerals (MoH-1), molybdenum bound to free humin substancess without R2O3 (MoH-2), molybdenum bound to polymerized difficult-to-oxidate organic substances (MoH-3), molybdenum bound to organic substances occluded to sesquioxides (MoORG-R2O3), molybdenum bound to inert carbon substances (MoC), residual molybdenum (MoRES) and total molybdenum (TMo). This method was verified on the samples of the typical soils of Slovakia, CSFR, with following values of the minimal, maximal and average contents of Mo fractions: WSMo 0.01, 0.21, 0.09; MoH-1 0.01, 1.15, 0.26; MoH-2 0.09, 0.77, 0.43; MoH-3 0.33, 1.30, 0.84; MoORG-R2O3 0.25, 0.67, 0.45; MoC 0.03, 0.29, 0.15; MoRES 0.15, 1.12, 0.45; TMo 1.39, 3.54, 2.72.
