A number of 100 Muscovy ducks were used, to study the effect of dietary fat (tallow and sunflower oil) at the levels of 3 and 6%, on production traits, namely: digestibility coefficient and carcass characteristics at 12 to 16 weeks of age. Values of live body weight, body gain and feed efficiency, were improved in ducks fed 6% fat than in those fed 3% fat, while their lowest values were found in the control one. On the other hand, the least amount of feed consumed by ducks were obtained with diets containing either tallow or sunflower oil.
