1989
Bodnar, T. (Kossuth Lajos Tudomanyegyetem, Debrecen (Hungary). Novenytani Tanszek)
According to the examination carried out in a sub-mountain Melico-Fagetum beech stand in Northern Hungary, after the harvesting by clear-cutting of the old forest standing on rendzina soil of limestone base rock, the soil layer which was swallowed also originally, became eroded, in about 40 per cent in the year following the cutting. The difference of the values measured in distilled water and in KCL suspension, slightly increased in the course of years. In the first year following the cutting, the humus content of the soil increased and then remained on this level. After initial increase, the N curve approached the value existed before cutting.
