This research attempts to investigate the response of panned lambs to a supplement of dietary rumen undegradable nitrogen (UDN) (5.1, 8.3, 5.6 and 8.7 g/kg DM) given with diets of either 70:30 or 30:70 roughage to concentrate ratio, then the nitrogen degradability in the rumen was determined. It seems that supplementation of UDN with high-concentrate diets does not stimulate animal performance, while the opposite is expected with high-roughage diets
