Effects of intercropping three different legumes on the yield and other agronomic characters of four varieties of corn
1988
Pagpaguitan, R.B.
The study was conducted in factorial in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 8 treatments replicated 4 times. Two experiments were conducted simultaneously. Experiment 1 was using the 5-toner corn represented by two varieties such as SMC Hi-Yield and Pioneer 3274. While Experiment 2 was using the 3-toner varieties represented by Improved Tiniguib and IPB Variety 2. Both experiments were intercropped with three different legumes such as mungbean, bush sitao and soybean. A two-factor experiment in a randomized complete block design analysis of variance was used to determine the significant differences among treatments. Duncan's Multiple Range Test and Least Significant Difference Test were used to determine further the differences among treatment means.
