The effectiveness of protective fertilizers for foliage application in controlling cabbage aphid (Brevicoryne brassicae L.)

On the basis of the presented results of the studies it should be inferred that protective fertilizers for foliage application are unable to completely eliminate insecticides from aphid control. However, their rational use gives an important chance in decreasing the frequency of pesticide application, thus contributing to inhibition of the development of resistant strains of pests and to protection of the environment
