Lines of wheat representing chromosome substitutions into the variety Dwarf A from the variety Bezostaya A1 and Triticum macha were tested for resistance to a number of races of yellow (stripe) rust. Chromosomes 2A and 5BS-7BS of Dwarf A and 2B of T. macha were found to carry resistance to one or more of the yellow rust races
