Possibilities of substituting the imported soybean meal by pea and rapeseed meal or their combination were investigated. The experiment was conducted with 4 pig groups fed with isonitrogenous feed. The results obtained indicated that the use of domestic protein feeds provided slightly poorer pig performances as compared with the imported soybean meal. Combination of pea and rapeseed meal provided better results than the use of pea or rapeseed alone. The use of the investigated domestic feeds had no significant effect on the slaughtering parameters. All investigated ratios provided satisfactory results with fattening pigs. The results are acceptable for the investigated conditions of pork production.
