Effects of mineral fertilization upon the stomata number in the Prilep tobacco variety

Based on a three-year investigation of the effects of mineral fertilization upon the stomata number on the 12th leaf of the Prilep tobacco variety, the following statement upon reducing the stomata number per unit area. The increased nitrogen rates in NPK has a significant effect in reducing the stomata number per unit area in the upper as well as in the lower epidermis of the leaf.
