[Susceptibility of isolates of Phomopsis viticola Sacc., a causer of black spot on grapevine, to some fungicides]
1989
Macek, J. | Zgur, J. (Biotehniska fakulteta, Ljubljana (Yugoslavia))
The investigation was carried out into susceptibility of 13 isolates of the fungus Phomopsis viticola Sacc, from 6 varieties of grapevine, to Cu sulphate, micronized sulphur, Captan, Beomyl, Thiophanate-methyl and Mancozeb. The highest efficiency was found with Benomyl, slightly lower with Thiophanate-methyl, Captan and Mancozeb. From 5 investigated substrates, mycelium of the fungus, Phomopsis viticola grew best on the substrate according to Das Gupta and on the mixture of potato extracts and the mentioned substrate. On the basis of growth rate, isolates were divided into 2 groups, slow and quick growing isolates. On the basis of susceptibility, isolates were divided into 2 groups as well, less susceptible and more susceptible isolates.
