[Land reform and colonization in Croatia [Yugoslavia] in the 1945-1948 period]

This monograph deals with changes in the land ownership as a result of the first undertaken, industrial and political measures after the 2nd World War. The changes are investigated in relation to agrarian relationships in the period between the 2 World Wars and circumstances during the national-liberation war. Conditions in the country as well as political and legislative preparations for the realization of the land reform and colonization are analyzed in detail. Objects of the land reform (large land estates, church land, confiscated land, etc.) and users of the land reform (poor peasants, colonists, etc.) are determined. Colonization from Croatia to Vojvodina is discussed particularly. Data show relationships in the whole Croatia.
