Multiregression analysis was used to determine certain multiconditioned reproductive characteristics of swine. Calculated were values of multiple correlations and partial regression coefficients. Data on the first three farrowings from four combined matings between different races of swine were used for these investigations. Each group contained 37 sows. Mutual conditional relations are the strongest between the average number of live born piglets in the first farrowing and the litter size in the same farrowing. All other characteristics as idependably variable had smaller impact on the strength of mutual relationshpis. Average number of live born piglets from second farrowing is mainly conditioned by the number of weaned piglets from the first farrowing. Number of live births, litter size and the number of weaned piglets from the third farrowing, in various sets independently variable, were mutually strongly associated. Addition - introduction of other characteristics into a set of data contributed only slightly to the firmness of association. The analysis has shown how complex are inter-relationsphip between the reproductive characteristics. It clearly demonstrated which characteristics are more dependable one upon another.
