Differential rent in socialism

This paper provides an explanation of all the reasons for which the socialist differential rent is not a sufficiently cleared up question of economic theory and practice in socialism. Therefore, 4 reasons are emphasized: 1) inconsistency of the starting theoretical and methodological bases of consideration; 2) existence of various forms of land ownership in socialist countries; 3) disagreement among theoreticians regarding the historical from of action of the law of value; 4) practical difficulties in determination of differential rent scale as an extra income in the income of agricultural and productive units.
