Man's needs for animal proteins are great, therefore the relevance of antibiotics finding in meat and organs of slaughtered animals. The consumption of antibiotic-contaminated feeds may cause a number of disorders in man (resistance to microorganisms, allergic reactions, disturbed intestinal microflora, toxic effects, etc.). Meat and kidney samples (112) were subjected to inhibition test with test microorganisms (B. cereus, St aureus) and 17.86% yielded positive. The results suggest that antibiotic residues should be checked regularly, especially in the case of summary slaughter.
