1986
Ramosevac, I. (Poljoprivredni fakultet, Sarajevo (Yugoslavia))
The influence of amounts and time of the application of nitrogen to the crop stand of Timothy grass showed the following: -the difference in nitrogen nutrition of the plants had different influence to the crop stand, i.e. general tillering degree and to the number of fertile and vegetative blades. The most dense stand [675 offshoots to m] was obtained during the application of 150kg N/ha, representing the increase of 32% compared to the control. The special nitrogen effect was shown in the number of fertile blades. The top dressing time, although not so effective also had the specific influence to the tested characteristics.
