Insecticidal action of crude and distilled products of Dichlorvos

The insecticidal value of Dichlorvos was tested by means of its effects on adults of normally sensitive laboratory strains of fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster), house fly (Musca domestica), mosquito (Aedes aegypti), cockroach (Blattella germanica) and bean weevil (Acanthoscelides obtectus). All three tested products showed a high insecticidal action. Several doses of the preparations were investigated.
