[The effect of ethrel and CCC on the stalk length, grain yield and the content of phosphorus, potassium and sugar in the grain of winter rye "Macedonia"]

In this experiment, winter rye "Macedonia" was sprayed with 5 mg of ethrel, 20 mg of CCC, 5 mg of threl + 20 mg CC and 2.5 mg of ethrel + 10 mg of CC, per pot, during tillering and the initial phase of ear formation, reducing the stalk and ear lengths, which was especially the case with late spraying. In addition to this, the yields of hay and grain, and the potassium content were reduced, whereas the content of sugar and phosphorus in grain increased.
