Water treatment procedures with respect to the increasing contamination of water resources

Water purification methods which do not require coagulating chemicals are presented. Attention is paid especially to the removal of harmful substances from water by physical methods. Ultraviolet irradiation removing pesticides from water was used to decompose their residues as well as sorption methods removing heavy metals by means of a zeolite sorbent of domestic origin.
