Biological evaluation of Triticale grain as compared to other cereals

On the basis of many years of chemical and biological studies, the following model of Triticale as a fodder cereal can be drawn. Protein content in Triticale should not be less than in cultivated wheat, and lysine in grain - not less than in rye. Alkiloresorcin content should not exceed the level in wheat grain the limits of concentration of water soluble nonstarchy polysaccharide in Triticale grain should be established in further studies
