B, Mn, Cu, Zn and Pb content in a corn grain examined at the differentiated application of plant protection

The soil samples and corn grains in full maturity were collected in 1986-87, from the plots set on lessive soil developed from loess of Naleczow Plateau. The samples were taken from the individual plots of complex cultivated part as well as from traditionally cultivated ones. A correlation coefficient of total and available forms of elements was calculated in soil and plant. The analysed soils showed a low abundance of available boron and medium abundance of available manganese, copper, zinc. The total content of microelements did not affect the concentration of the investigated microelements in a corn grain. Boron made the only exeption as it demonstrated a significant correlation with a grain of spring barley. It was found that a grain of winter and spring wheat coming from the plots of intensive plant protection displayed higher manganese content in comparison with those of traditional protection. Moreover in a spring wheat grain, the similar relations were recorded coefficient was noted between the available forms content in soil and manganese content in a grain of winter wheat, spring barley, oat and zinc in a spring barley grain
