Changes in some physical and chemical properties of soil occurring under the effect of crop rotations and mineral fertilization are presented. The construction of crop rotations with the share of leguminous crops or grasses contributes not only to better aggregateous state of soil, but also to a higher waterproofness of aggregates. The mineral fertilization affects destructively the aggregates and crumby structure of soil, what exerts a negative influence on possibility of water accumulation for plants. The field water capacity decreases under the effect of more intensive mineral fertilization. Among chemical features significant changes occur in the pH value and in the available Mg content. Increased rates of the mineral fertilization lowered the soil pH value and the Mg content. An increasing tendency of the available P and K content in soil due to an increased mineral fertilization was observed
