Shaping of yield and soluble solids content in tomato fruits of interspecific F1 hybrids (Lycopersicon esculentum x Lycopersicon pimpinellifolium Mill.)

The heterosis effects observed in yield were found as a result of the complex, complementary inheritance of the fruits number and weight, the results obtained suggested geometrical action of genes. Soluble solid content in the F1 hybrids fruits showed intermediate values in relation to the parental lines
