Investigation was carried out in a field experiment with three levels of nitrogen fertilization (90, 120 and 150kg N/ha) and wheat cultivar KG-56. Foliar application of nitrogen was done in flowering and milky stage. Nitrogen foliar nutrition resulted in increase of values of flour sedimentation for 6-23 ml, of protein content for 0,54-1,94 of the absolute percents, grain yield to 0,68 t/ha, and protein yield for 95-164 kg/ha. At earlier foliar nutrition grain yield increased more, and at later topdressing the grain quality improved more. Increase of grain protein content under effect of foliar nutrition was not in a clear connection with the rate of nitrogen in basic fertilization.
