This paper deals with the application rate of fertilizers for high-yield rice. By using the regression analysis, a hyperbola equation between soil natural nutrient-supplying rate and available nutrient content and a power functional equation between hybrid rice yield and nutrient uptake have been set up. These equations illustrate the law that soil natural nutrient-supplying rate is determined by soil nutrient content, and the correlation between rice yield and nutrient uptake. Moreover, this paper introduces a method which uses a formula to calculate fertilizer rate of rice target yield in accordance with a determination value of soil nutrient content and a value calculated from the two equations, providing a reference for metrological fertilization of high-yield rice
