Effect of Trifmin 30 WP on the degree of powdery mildew infection in various winter and spring barley genotypes.
1991
Muranyi, I. (Godolloi Agratud. Egyet. (Hungary). Kompolti Kut. Int.)
In Hungary the plant protecting agent Trifmin 30 WP is only authorized for use on apples, pears and vines, so it cannot be applied in the control of cereal powdery mildew. In the present experiments the preparation led to a reduction in the degree of infection for both types of barley, giving average yield increases of 300 kg/ha for winter barley and 450 kg/ha for spring barley. The yields of different genotypes rose to varying extents as the result of the treatment, larger yield increases being observed for more susceptible types.
