1989
Razzak, A.A.W.
This work was conducted to determine the fungal content of wheat grains and the conditions which influence the number and activities of the fungi during the storage period and to investigate the extent of presence of the vomitoxin. Results indicate that the maximum temperature of the samples was in September and the minimum occurred in March, the highest humidity content was detected in March samples while the lowest one was during September, fungal content indicated that the maximum level of fungi was reached in March sample while the lowest content was in September. Investigated wheat samples revealed the availability of vomitoxin (don) ranging between 0.06-1.36 mg/kg, it was also established that wheat used as animal feed contained the highest content of this toxin
