Flowering of gerbera in the unheated plastic tunnels according to plant density

The higher the plant density the higher the yield of gerbera flowers from 1 sq. m. However, the number of flowers per plant and their quality depended on cultivar. The results of experiment showed that in the unheated plastic tunnels gerbera should be planted in spacing 30x15 cm; the best results were achieved with the "Saskia" cultivar
