Beta-carotene and vitamin A content in feeds for calves

Studies on changes in beta-carotene and vitamin A content in colostrum, milk replacers (Mlekopan H), concentrate feeds (CJ) and hay in relation to season were carried out. The significant low content of beta-carotene and vitamin A (did not meet the requirement) in those feeds during the winter and early spring was stated
