KRS 156 (Kohong Rubber Station), or Kohong 156, is a Thai rubber clone from the cross between PR 5/63 and PR 107. KRS 156 is a high yielding clone with fast growth before tapping stage; and moderate growth during tapping stage. This clone is resistant to pink disease and Phytophthora leaf disease: highly resistant to Brown Bast and Stripe diseases: but susceptible to leaf disease causes by Oidium and Colletotrichum. At present, KRS 156 was included in the 1985 Rubber Recommendation List as a testing variety.
