Experiments on nursing of brown spotted grouper (Epinephelus tauvina Forskal) with artificial diets containing three levels of crude protein at 45 %, 50 % and minced fish were conducted during April 22, June 21, 1986 in the 85x135x100 cm. concrete tanks. Eighty fish were introduced in each tank at the initial average size of 4.38 cm. in length and 0.91 g. in weight. The result revealed that the growth rate of the fish fed with artificial diets more significantly increased than with the minced fish ones. Survival rate of fish fed with the 45 %, 50 % and 55 % protein levels and minced fish were 82.08 %, 87.50 %, 87.08 % and 84.58 % while the F/c ratio was 2.83, 2.77, 1.44 and 3.95 respectively.
