Experimental culture of green mussel [Perna viridis (Linn.)] by rope hanging methods were conducted at Bang-Prakong River estuary. Two types of hanging methods were used, "the rope substrate" and "the onion bag". These two forms of mussel seeds were hung up with two kinds of float, raft and long-line. Hence, four types of culturing method were comparatively studied. There was no significant difference in growth among the four types of culturing method. Nevertheless, the mussel production of "the onion bag" was higher than that of "the rope substrate". With regards to the type of float, the long-line seems to be strong, lasts longer and easy for maintenance
