Nutrition influence on digestive capacity development in young pigs

The article provides a survey of the results obtained in the field of nutrition of piglets from birth to the age of two months. The postnatal development of the digestive tract of the piglet between birth and 25 kg of live weight was determined on the basis of anatomical data, and on the measurement of enzymic adaptation in the stomach, the pancreas and the small intestine.
