VIA-Antigen produced from FMD-Virus, serotype O1, was suitable for AGP-Test, but not for Elisa. Three groups of cattle, one of sheep and one of guinea pigs have been examined in AGP-test. The sera of group number one come from 125 adult cows more time vaccinated with O1 and A22 and additionally they are infected naturally with ASIA 1 1-7 days before bleeding. Seventy four of these sera (60%) were positive to VIA-Antigen. The group number two consists of 99 sera of adult cows vaccinated as animals of group one, but they are not infected. These animals are additionally vaccinated with ASIA 1 21 days before bleeding. Forty one (44%) of these sera were positive to VIA-Antigen. The sera of group number three come from 101 calves younger than 12 months old. Their parents are more time vaccinated with FMD-vaccine but the calves themselves are vaccinated just once with ASIA 1 21 days before bleeding. The sera of these calves have been examined in neutralisation test too. Seven of the Calves were positive to VIA-Antigen. One of these seven VIA-positive sera (of 2 months old calf) has 1.2, two (of 4 and 7 months old) 1,8, two (of 6 and 12 months old) 2, 1 and one (7 months old) 2,7 neutralisation antibody titer respectively.
