Dynamics and energy content of the photosynthetic production of vine varieties
1992
Justyak, J.
Growth analysis (GA) was used to study the dynamics, of the photosynthetic system in the vine varieties Furmint, Lindenblattriger and Pinot gris. The changes in the parameters differed by an order of magnitude from one variety to the other, but they always changed in the same direction, since they depended on the weather. The differences in the order of magnitude are due to genetic factors, i.e. to differences in variety traits. The maximum daily dry matter increase was observed during flowering. The leaf area index (LAI) continued to increase until the end of the examination, with fastest growth rate observed during flowering and green berry formation. The relative growth rate (RGR) and the net assimilation rate (NAR) exhibited only a weak positive correlation with the water reserves of the soil. The obvious effect of the soil water reserves is masked by the biological rhythm of the vines. 1.16-2.80 % of the irradiation energy absorbed is permanently fixed by the vine
