Mycotoxins are toxic secondary metabolites produced by number of fungi in cereal grains, animal feeds and foods both before harvest and during storage. Under the Hungarian climatic situation, the most frequent Fusarium toxins are T-2, HT-2, DON, DAS F-2 and the Ochratoxin A produced by some Aspergillus and Penicillium genera. The goal was to develop monoclonal antibody-based, direct competitive Elisa tests for determination of mycotoxins in different cereals, that are the most important in Hungary. This article reports the setup and optimalization of two ELISA tests (T-2 and F-2) and their application in the practice
