This study was carried out to investigate the effect of animal transport interacted with fasting time on physiological parameter, live weight loss, and quality characteristics of carcass. Thirty Awassi ram lambs, 36kg in their average live weight, were divided randomly into five groups. Lambs in groups 1,2,3,4 and 5 were respectively, subjected to the following treatments: control, transport, fasting + transport, transport + fasting and fasting + transport + fasting
