Effect of Biogen B and Biogen N on milk performance in cows and on calf rearing

An experiment on cows fed a Biogen B supplemented diet from the last 3 weeks of pregnancy to 8 months of lactation as well as on calves given Biogen N from the birth up to 7 days of life and Biogen B up to 60 days of life was carried out. The beneficial effect of Biogen B on milk yield but not on milk protein, fat, lactose and dry matter content was observed. The significant higher by 10 percent weight gain in calves given Biogen N and Biogen B than in control ones was stated
