Neste trabalho sao analisadas as estatisticas da pesca relativa aos desembarques de peixe-galo (Zeus faber L.) no continente portugues, no periodo compreendido entre 1986-1991. Apresenta-se informacao sobre a pesca desta especie na costa continental portuguesa, nomeadamente no que se refere as frotas que a capturam, aos portos de descarga e a evolucao mensal e anual dos desembarques. E calculada uma primeira estimativa da Captura por Unidade de Esforco da frota de arrasto costeiro, no periodo 1986-1990
