Determination of the wheat frost resistance from the distribution of DNA-fuxine in the cell cycle phases

Cytophotometrical analasis of nuclei from apical meristems of wheat varieties has promoted determination of biochemical parameters of their frost resistance proceeding from the content of DNA-fuxin in the cell cycle phases. It is shown that its content in G1- and S-phase nuclei of high-frost-resistant varieties is twice higher than in non-frost-resistant ones. Negative correlation is characteristic of the G2-phase
