The authors evaluated the reactions of free-living nematodes (Nematoda), soil mites (Acarina) and Collembola on soil treatment in maize by herbicides Prado-SC, Lentagran-450-EC and their combinations with preparations Nelpon-50-EC, Zeazin-S-40, Atpluss-411-F. Dominance of nematodes in treated soil fluctuated from 9.28 to 25.93 percent (control 21.29), soil mites from 2.72 to 6.37 percent, Collembola from 10.55 to 36.87 percent (control 0.0 percent). The herbicides reduced the number of mites and directly dependent Collembola, that were, as it was shown in the control variant, their prefered food component.
