Some dihaploid genotypes of Solanum tuberosum produce anthocyanin pigments. The content of these pigments in callus cultures of dihaploid genotypes 74/39, 76/64, and 76/39 and the non-pigmented genotype 79/4, as the control, was investigated. Among factors influencing significantly the anthocyanin synthesis in plant tissues (effects of a genotype, culturing medium, and cultivation time) in vitro was the genotype of the initial plant material. The study of influence of the other factors on the absorbance level of the analysed samples did not reveal any significant changes
