Study of the change in carbohydrate and protein levels during seed development of sweet corn cv. Thai super sweet composite 1 DMR during December 1983 to June 1984, every 5 days after silking up to 45 days drew the fresh seed samples to determine the amount of protein and sugar content. The maximum protein content showed at 10 and 30 days after silking glucose and fructose was highest in seeds of 5 days after silking, but seeds of 20 days after silking stage contained maximum sucrose content.
