The possible pollution of forage plants with toxic arsenic released from the technological process of the production of glass and crystal, lucerne, hay, seeds of cereal grasses and soil samples were examinated. Forage plants are contaminated with arsenic. Lucerne and hay contain 3-14 times higher quantities of arsenic than the same plants from an area which was not exposed to pollution. The increase of arsenic content in the cereals is slight or completely absent, while there are no differences in the examined soil samples which could be a result of pollution.
