Weeds in maize and soya crops on treated piece of land by herbicides in previous year

This paper deals with the floristic composition, its number and the biomass of weeds in the maize and soya crops on untreated and treated piece of land (by herbicides) in the previous year. The investigations were done in 1987 and in 1988. The great floristic resemblance of weed communities in maize and soya is established. Both communities are typical for row crops. Greater weedness as well as the greater freshness and air-dry biomass of weeds in maize dominate in comparison with the soya weeds.
